Concierge – Atrium (Sioux Falls, SD)

The concierge is responsible for checking in and scheduling patients, preparing paperwork, taking payments, handling walk-ins, and maintaining cleanliness and order in the waiting room. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, be detail oriented and the ability to be flexible and prioritize.

 

IT/Help Desk Liaison (Sioux Falls, SD)

Vance Thompson Vision is looking for an IT Technician/Help Desk Liaison. The IT/Computer tech serves as the primary point of end user contact for all company supported applications, hardware and associated technical systems and solutions. Primary responsibility is to engage the end user to gain all applicable information regarding their issue(s) and enter it promptly and completely into the Help Desk system.

 

Research Coordinator (Sioux Falls, SD)

The research coordinator plays an active role in clinical research including patient testing, data collection and dissemination of study information. The coordinator will be responsible for assisting with study initiation activities, such as coordinating the delivery of study-related paperwork, equipment, demos, supplies, and participating in study-initiation meetings.  They are responsible for ensuring protocol and regulatory compliance to assigned clinical study protocols. This role acts as a liaison between clinical study sponsors, patients, doctors and VTV staff members.  Bachelor's degree from a four year college or university in health related or basic science program or current COA, COT or COMT certification preferred.

 

Surgical Coordinator (Sioux Falls, SD)

The surgical coordinator is responsible for scheduling refractive, laser and surgical cases. They ensure thorough patient education and financial counseling for laser, surgical and refractive procedures including consents and prior authorizations.  The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to provide excellent customer service to patients and family members, be detail oriented and have the ability to be flexible and prioritize.

 

Ophthalmic Medical Assistant (Sioux Falls, SD)

The ophthalmic assistant performs patient workups, preliminary tests and diagnostics in accordance with protocol. They ensure thorough patient education, facilitate efficient patient flow, medical records and coordinate surgery schedules. The ophthalmic assistant communicates with MD as indicated. They triage patient phone calls, answer questions and resolve concerns as directed to achieve patient satisfaction. Optometric Assistant (Sioux Falls, SD)

This person will provide administrative support to the ODs.  They are responsible for the coordination of effective schedules, and notify the appropriate office personnel of changes.  The person will relieve ODs of clerical work and administrative details. They will also organize our mission vision program, our optometric residency program and student rotations.  This position is part time. 

 

Surgical Technician (Sioux Falls, SD)

The Surgical Technician is responsible for assisting in the organization and daily function of the operating room. Main duties will be assisting with sterilization and surgical procedures. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service, interpersonal skills, the ability to multitask and think critically in addition to having a working knowledge of a hospital, operating room or ambulatory surgical center. 

 

Ophthalmic Medical Assistant (Alexandria, MN)

The ophthalmic assistant performs patient workups, preliminary tests and diagnostics in accordance with protocol. They ensure thorough patient education, facilitate efficient patient flow, medical records and coordinate surgery schedules. The ophthalmic assistant communicates with MD as indicated.
