Accounts Representative (Sioux Falls, SD)

Accounting Representative assists with check processing, verification and mailing. This position maintains paid invoice files and reviews vendor statements monthly for accuracy and outstanding invoices. They are also responsible for recording of cash receipts and preparing reports of budget expenditures, revenues and account or fund balances. The representative maintains and reviews cost center and appropriation accounts, including trial balances, to verify accuracy with coding, classifying and posting. An Associates Degree in Accounting; or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred. ?Experience and understanding of ?general ledgers, accounts payable and ?Microsoft Excel is preferred.

 

Clinical Director/RN (Sioux Falls, SD)

Vance Thompson Vision is looking for a registered nurse to fill our Clinical Director opening.  This person is responsible for supervising daily clinical operations of the surgery center and manages the clinical and clerical staff in accordance with established Federal, State and accreditation regulations and guidelines, as well as established Ambulatory Surgical Center policies and procedures.  They will oversee patient care activities in preoperative, postoperative and intraoperative.  They are responsible for staff development, orientation and staff discipline and appraisals. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service stills, a positive attitude, and have the ability to be flexible and prioritize. Operating room experience preferred. 

 

Concierge - Front Desk (Sioux Falls, SD)

The concierge is responsible for checking in and scheduling patients, preparing paperwork, taking payments, handling walk-ins, and maintaining cleanliness and order in the waiting room. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, be detail oriented and the ability to be flexible and prioritize.

 

Concierge – Phone Center (Sioux Falls, SD)

The concierge position is responsible for answering incoming calls, taking messages, transferring, and providing information as appropriate. The concierge is also responsible for booking, coordinating, and rescheduling patient appointments. The concierge works with clinical assistants to assure accuracy of appointment schedules. Additional clerical duties may include handling correspondence, maintaining stocks of materials, distributing incoming mail, and providing exceptional service to all clients. Medical Billing Specialist (Sioux Falls, SD)

We are looking for a medical billing specialist to join our team. The medical billing specialist is responsible for insurance claim follow-up, answering patient questions, posting patient payments, as well as other duties. A minimum of two years of related experience in a medical or business environment supporting professional billing and phone services is required. Ophthalmic Assistant/RN (Sioux Falls, SD)

The ophthalmic assistant performs patient workups and preliminary tests in accordance with protocol. They perform various diagnostics, ensure thorough patient education and facilitate efficient patient flow by monitoring schedules, medical records and potential conflicts. The ophthalmic assistant resolves and communicates with OD/MD as indicated. They triage patient phone calls, answer questions and resolve concerns as directed to achieve patient satisfaction. The ideal candidate creates an enthusiastic work environment and communicates in an open and concise manner.

 

Research Coordinator (Sioux Falls, SD)
 
The research coordinator plays an active role in clinical research including patient testing, data collection and dissemination of study information. The coordinator will be responsible for assisting with study initiation activities, such as coordinating the delivery of study-related paperwork, equipment, demos, supplies, and participating in study-initiation meetings.  They are responsible for ensuring protocol and regulatory compliance to assigned clinical study protocols. This role acts as a liaison between clinical study sponsors, patients, doctors and VTV staff members.  Bachelor's degree from a four year college or university in health related or basic science program or current COA, COT or COMT certification preferred.

 

Surgical Coordinator (Sioux Falls, SD)

The surgical coordinator is responsible for scheduling refractive, laser and surgical cases. They ensure thorough patient education and financial counseling for laser, surgical and refractive procedures including consents and prior authorizations. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to provide excellent customer service to patients and family members, be detail oriented and have the ability to be flexible and prioritize.
